Mobile World में इस वक्त सबसे ज्यादा चर्चा हो रही है Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G की। Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 एक SoC (System-on-a-Chip) है जो 5G सपोर्ट करता है। इसकी निर्माता कम्पनी Qualcomm का दावा है कि Snapdragon 888 5G Performance, AI, gaming, और photography के मामले में फिलहाल मार्केट में उपलब्ध Processors में सबसे बेहतरीन है।
Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 को कम्पनी ने दिसम्बर 2020 में launch किया है। जल्दी ही यह मार्केट में आने वाले कई Smart Phones में यह आपको मिलने भी लग जाएगा लेकिन इन Smart Phones को खरीदने से पहले आपको यह तो पता होना चाहिये कि आखिर इस Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 की खासियत क्या है?

जब कभी हम बात करते हैं Qualcomm Snapdragon की तो ये दोनों नाम हमें एक साथ सुनायी देते हैं जिनमें से पहला नाम Qualcomm इसकी निर्माता कम्पनी का नाम है जो एक अमेरिकी कम्पनी है। वहीं अगर हम बात करें Snapdragon की तो यह Qualcomm कम्पनी द्वारा निर्मित एक SoC (System-on-a-Chip) Semiconductor की Range है जो मोबाइल में प्रयोग होता है।

architecture के मामले में Snapdragon 888 काफी advanced है। यह 5nm process technology पर based है। इसका Qualcomm® Kryo™ 680 इसके CPU performance को 25% तक बढ़ा देता है और 2.84GHz तक frequencies देता है। साथ ही कम्पनी दावा है कि यह पहला commercial CPU subsystem है जो Arm Cortex-X1 पर based है। कम्पनी का दावा है कि इसने इस SoC में Qualcomm® Adreno™ 660 GPU लगाया है जो पिछले GPU के मुकाबले 35% faster graphics rendering करता है। इस SoC में Kryo 680 और Adreno 660 की जुगलबन्दी से इसकी performance लम्बे समय तक stable रहती है।
