आजकल सब जगह हैकिंग का खतरा बढ़ रहा है। अब तक केवल ऑनलाइन क्रेडिट कार्ड, नेट बैंकिग, ए0टी0एम0 आदि माध्यम से बैंक अकाउण्ट से ठगी की जा रही थी लेकिन पिछले कुछ दिनों में आधार बायोमेट्रिक डाटा का उपयोग कर ठगी के शिकार लोगों की संख्या बढ़ती जा रही है। आज हम आपको बताने वाले हैं कि आप किस तरह अपना आधार कार्ड सुरक्षित कर सकते हैं ताकि कोई और उसका गलत इस्तेमाल न कर सके।
Aadhar Card Biometrics Lock/unlock
आधार कार्ड को सुरक्षित करने का सबसे अच्छा उपाय है अपने Biometric Data जैसे Fingerprint/Iris को लॉक करना तथा जब जरूरत हो तब unlock कर उपयोग करना।
इसके लिए आपका मोबाइल नंबर आधार कार्ड से लिंक होना आवश्यक है अगर मोबाइल नंबर लिंक नहीं है तो पहले उसे लिंक करा लें।
अगर आपका मोबाइल नंबर आधार कार्ड से लिंक है तो आप सीधे ही आधार कार्ड की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर जायें जो ऐसी दिखती है –
वेबसाइट पर जाने के बाद आप आधार कार्ड सर्विसेज में जायें
आधार कार्ड सर्विसेज में जाने के बाद आप Biometric Lock/unlock के option पर click करें।
इसके बाद दिये गये Check Box को चेक करें। इसके बाद submit पर click करें।
इसके बाद आप अपना UID No. (Aadhar Card No.)/ Virtual ID को submit करें साथ ही captcha code भी दर्ज करें। उसके बाद get otp पर click करें।
इसके बाद आपके registered mobile number पर OTP आयेगा। इस प्राप्त OTP को आप दर्ज करायेंगे तो आपके Biometric Lock/unlock के option खुल जाएंगे।
इस तरीके से आप अपने Aadhar Card का Biometric Lock/unlock कर सकते हैं।

कौन और कब Aadhar Card Biometrics को lock कर सकता है?
कोई भी Aadhar Card धारक अपने आधार कार्ड की Biometrics को lock कर सकता है। इस प्रक्रिया के बाद कोई भी Biometric Authentication services (Fingerprint/Iris) का प्रयोग नहीं कर पायेगा। जब आपको आवश्यकता हो तब आप इसे unlock कर सकते हैं।

Who and when to lock Biometrics?
Any resident with valid Aadhar should be able to use the service. This feature empowers an Aadhaar holder to lock biometric. After locking biometrics if a UID is used for invoking any of the Authentication services using a biometric modality (Fingerprint/Iris) a specific error code ‘330’ indicating biometrics are locked.
How to Unlock (locked) Biometrics?
Once resident enables Biometric Locking system their biometric remains locked till the Aadhaar Holder chose to:
Unlock it (which is temporary ) or Disable the Locking system.
Note: Registered Mobile Number is essential to avail this service. In case your mobile number is not registered with Aadhaar visit the nearest Enrolment Centre/Mobile Update End Point.
